About
The person behind Sidebet.
I'm Izzy. The strategist, media buyer, writer, creative thinker, and actual person behind Sidebet. No account handoff required.
I work in the part of advertising that happens after the pitch deck.
My background is in paid media, with hands-on experience managing advertising across 30+ luxury automotive accounts and monthly budgets reaching $50K.
The work covers the part of advertising people don't always put in the flashy agency reel:
- Campaign builds
- Targeting
- Trafficking
- QA
- Budget pacing
- Optimization
- Reporting
- Creative decisions
- Figuring out what should happen next
My experience spans Meta, Roku, Amazon, premium Streaming / CTV, Spotify, and other digital advertising environments.
But the part I care about most is understanding why people pay attention, what makes them trust a business, and what actually moves them from noticing something to considering it, clicking, or buying.
I think a lot about how people really shop, how they compare options, what makes a message feel relevant, and what helps a brand feel familiar enough to choose. That thinking carries into the media, the creative, and the copy.
Sidebet came from a pretty simple belief: Managing the media isn't enough if nobody has thought hard enough about what the ad is actually saying, who it's speaking to, and why that person should care.
So I built the kind of business I wanted to see more of. One where paid media, creative, messaging, and real consumer behavior are treated like parts of the same strategy.
Off the clock
There's more to life than Ads Manager.
I care a lot about good ideas, brands with actual personality, and writing that sounds like a real person sat down and thought about what they wanted to say.
When my laptop is closed, I'm usually doing something that gets me outside, out of town, or both. Surfing when it's warm, snowboarding when it's cold, on my yoga mat year-round, taking way too many pictures, planning the next trip before the current one is even over, or finding any excuse to be near a beach, a mountain, or a concert.
I'm a sports person, a live-music person, and very much a “yes, we should go” person. There's a good chance 70s rock is playing somewhere in the background, I've added another place to my travel list, or I've somehow convinced myself I have time for one more hobby. I like doing things, seeing things, learning things, and generally not sitting still for too long.
That same curiosity is a big part of how I work. I notice branding everywhere. A good sign, a weird tagline, a restaurant with a really specific voice, an ad that somehow manages to sound like an actual person wrote it. I'm always paying attention to what makes people stop, what makes something feel trustworthy, and why certain businesses are instantly easy to like while others say a lot without really saying anything. I love when a brand has enough personality that you can get a feel for who they are before you even notice the logo.
Sidebet is intentionally personal. I have no interest in building the kind of agency where you meet one person on the sales call and then spend the next six months wondering who's actually touching your account.
If we work together, you're working with me.
I want to know the business, understand what makes it worth choosing, and do really good work for people I genuinely want to see win.
Work matters. So does having a life outside of it. I'm building Sidebet with room for both (preferably with enough time left over for a flight, a wave, a concert, or a really good powder day).
Good work. Good people.
