How I'd think about it

Not every useful example needs fake numbers attached to it. These are illustrative Sidebet strategy studies showing how I would approach different business problems.

01

Roofing / Home Services

Turning a high-ticket local service into a paid-media system.

Problem

Most roofing advertisements say some version of: Free estimates. Quality work. Trusted service. That's not much of a reason to choose one company over another.

Sidebet approach

  • Meta: Build lead-generation or landing-page campaigns around a defined service territory and high-value services.
  • Creative: Develop separate angles around urgency, trust, financing, weather/storm relevance, before-and-after proof, homeowner objections, and specific service problems.
  • Messaging: Replace generic “trusted roofing company” copy with specific reasons the business is worth calling.
  • Retargeting: Reconnect with website visitors and high-intent social audiences.
  • CTV: Add streaming when the budget supports broader household awareness in priority service areas.

Testing priorities

  • Offer
  • Creative angle
  • Proof
  • Geography
  • Lead path
  • Retargeting message

Don't just buy more local impressions. Give the impressions something useful to say.

02

Med Spa / Aesthetics

Launching a high-value treatment without looking like every other med spa.

Problem

Aesthetics advertising is crowded with nearly identical visuals and nearly identical copy about confidence.

Sidebet approach

  • Lead with one treatment, one audience, and one clear reason to care.
  • Develop separate creative territories around education, transformation, objection handling, practitioner credibility, lifestyle/outcome, and offer.
  • Use Meta to test which message earns action before expanding spend. Build retargeting around people who engage with treatment education or visit relevant service pages.

Creative rule

  • If another med spa could replace the logo and run the exact same advertisement, the idea isn't finished.

03

Premium Local Business

Meta + Streaming

Problem

The business wants action now without ignoring long-term local awareness.

Sidebet approach

  • Meta: Targeted traffic, lead generation, retargeting, and measurable action.
  • Streaming: Broader household visibility within the same geographic market.
  • Creative: Maintain recognizable messaging across screens without pretending the same asset belongs everywhere.

Goal

  • Build a media mix where every channel has a job instead of asking every platform to do everything.
